PAUL STEVENs
Michael says,
Paul Stevens in all fairness is my right hand man, but don’t let him know I said that. He trained with us under my Dad Peter and has been with us at Pickwick Motors since Dad opened in early 1982. There is not much that Paul does not know about cars. What he does not know he will always find out so when talking about your car he’s the one to talk to. This guy really is first class.
Paul says,
I joined Pickwick at the very birth of the company in 1982 as a school leaver and trained under Michaels Dad, Peter, learning the trade. I feel that I am very skilled in many areas having worked on everything from classic and vintage cars right up to the most modern & current vehicles. I also have done plenty of work on all of those cars in between. I attended Medway College on a day release scheme and at the end earned a good range of City & Guilds Certificates.
Time moves on and I strive to keep up with all the changes that the motor trade throws at us, as we all do at Pickwicks. In order to do this we call on many resources of information that are currently available. On the very slim occasions that I do get caught out and there really are only a very few occasions there is always someone to call upon.
I became a VOSA MOT tester and that has to be kept up to date and myself along with all other tester attend regular MOT Tester refresher courses.
I am a keen motorcyclist and currently hold a full motorcycle, car & Class 1 HGV licence
