Michael Adley that’s me and for my sins everything stops here with me and if there is anything you want to discuss you can ask for me personally and I will be happy to help you at any time.  I have a good pedigree if I do say so myself.   I was taught by the very best, my father, and then went on to spend a number of years at a local Vauxhall main agent.  On leaving there I started my own business as a mobile technician for the following five years before joining Pickwick’s in 2006.  I have had sole responsibility for Pickwick’s now for more that 5 years and I hope that between us all, have developed the business into a strong position.  We have increased the range of work that we do and this means that you as the customer can have what really is a “one stop shop”.  We are very proud of what we have achieved, as a team.  Please browse this site and give us your views on the comments page.

I did train under Dad for a number of years then finishing my training under a Vauxhall dealership.  I have City & Guilds certificates and I am a VOSA approved MOT tester.  When I became a VOSA MOT tester I also became the company Designated MOT Manager and I have the responsibility to VOSA and to you as my customer that we conduct MOT tests to the same exacting standard that VOSA insist on and to be kept up to date myself along with all other tester attend regular MOT Tester refresher courses.

I am very proud of Pickwicks, Dad and Penny did a grand job and really proud of the team that work here.  They all do a such a great job and I am lucky to have them all.  I try hard to look after them as best I can, sometimes not getting it perfect, but still I try. 

Like my Dad I am a keen motorcyclist but more that that I am an avid cyclist.  It is something I very much enjoy and it keeps me healthy.  I recently got married and this is by far the very best thing to have happened to me.  My wife Julie does help when she can at the garage despite having her own full time job.   You will hopefully get to meet her as time progresses as I do hope that she will be here more and more.
