Michael says,

Dave Walter Although the newest member of our team he has been with us for four years now.  He also has a serious pedigree and was many years with the local Vauxhall main agent. He came to us as our primary MOT tester but is as valuable to us as a technician.  With the Vauxhall training behind him he is a great asset to us. Since being at Pickwicks Dave has gained the experience of working on a vast and varied range of cars that you do not always get at the main agent.  We get all comers at Pickwicks and we all need to develop that type of skill.  Dave has done this perfectly.  He’s a great guy and always friendly and happy to help.

Dave says,

I have been with Pickwick’s for best part of six years now and before that I served my apprenticeship with a local Vauxhall Dealership.  I attended college and was happy to attain a high standard of City & Guilds Certificates.  I continued to work with the Vauxhall main agent network for a number of years until I came here.  Pickwicks has given me that opportunity to develop the skills require to deal with the older cars.  Paul, Michael and especially Pete has a really vast knowledge here and they are all happy to share that knowledge.  It sounds like this is all we do, well far from it, we are happy with ANY car of ANY age new or old and I love my job I do no matter what.  It’s a good family atmosphere here and we have a great range of lovely customers.  Like Michael and Paul I enjoy my motorcycling and only wish I had more time to ride.  I am a very keen fisherman and get to cast a few lines whenever I can.  When not at work you can often find me sitting beside water somewhere.
